Custom LTT Motherboard?

Hi, Im thinking of making a few LTT/LMG themed Motherboards and sending them to Linus. Does anyone have any ideas for these motherboards? Im thinking a LGA 2011, an LGA 1366, and a LGA 1155

What exactly do you mean by custom or themed? Like artwork on the heat sinks and stuff? I assume these are just meant as display pieces?

Gigabyte already uses colors very close to LTT colors as well.

Kinda, but Im thinking that the LGA 1155 can be actually used. the heatsinks would be themed, and i'm thinking of getting some custom printed vinyl on the chipset cooler

OK, but... for what? That's a several-generations-old chipset. Like, it's one thing if it could be used but is the intent for it to be used? If so, in what type of PC?

They actually did a "All-LTT themed PC" several years ago.

 

 

I think you would be better off focusing on making some cool-looking stuff for display rather than actually expecting/wanting it to go into a functioning system.

I think there's LTT stickers at the LTT store. Case badges maybe.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother. Especially with the hardware that you're talking about. It wouldn't be of any real use to them, and would more than likely take up valuable shelf space. I mean, it's definitely a nice thought, just not something I think is worth doing.

Honestly I don’t care it would just be cool to send them something, even if it gets returned. If they kept it, bonus.

Ah, so not only do you want to potentially waste their time, you also want to cost them money?
I mean, I get what you're trying to do, and the gesture is nice, but I really don't think it's a good idea. Plus you don't want to start a trend, costing them even more money.

If you want to go about something like that, maybe make it, and show it to them at one of the expos. Then they can appreciate it, maybe sign it, and politely decline if they don't want it hanging about.

I understand ya. The problem is, I can’t really go to one of their expos. I live in Hawaii. Also, I would like to get a job with them. But do you have any ideas for the boards? I don’t have to send them.

Planes exist

Not only that flights from Hawaii are pretty reasonable.

You could buy an airbrush and get some really intricate details on there. I don't think there's a ton of ways you can really make the board unique though.
