Priorities of homescreen..

Plus a clock

Install Nova/Apex Launcher and you can remove that.

woo, thanks bro. :)

I love my HTC One to death but I always hated the fact you can only put so much things in a homescreen.

Now I LOVE the stock clock widget HTC puts in every time, with the weather, it's damn neat, but it takes up half the screen.

Then I have 4 files, Social Media, Media Consumption, Tools and Internet (browsers, Playstore and such)

Of course the most important thing to me is the dashboard, don't want to go to status bar or double finger swipe to get to the options. I want to be able to switch WiFi and mobile data fast.

Now it looks like this my homescreen:

I am probably the only one who is this picky with homescreens. :(

Changed the clock to the small one and put Spotify in there.

Running Cyanogenmod 10 on my Nexus 4, using Nova Launcher. (In Norwegian)

It's also made so it matches my desktop PC:

Looks pretty neat! However I myself can't stand many apps on their own like that, I need them in folders. :P

I kinda like the HTC Sense widgets etc, but Nova is better, sense lacks customisation.

As Android 4.1.1 has 5 screens i leave the center (3rd one and the first you see) comletely empty (i've tried to remove the Google search widget but,...well someday i will)

Then screen Nº1 left to right is Documents-related apps (Adobe Reader, Moonlight Reader, Clean master etc.)

screen Nº2 is for: Communications (phone, facebook, twitter, SMS, What's app)

screen Nº4 is for: Media (Music Player, Mobo player, Radio, also Google play store and wifi)

and finally Nº5 (right-most) is exclusively for: Games (Reaper, Dumb ways to die, Geometry dash, Fruit ninja etc.)

Don't get mad, get even...

Install Nova/Apex Launcher and you can remove that.
