Laptop Display Off Centre - Help

SamDiCola

Hi everyone,

Was hoping someone could help me out here

I recently got myself a new laptop, the Lenovo Legion 5, and I love it and am very happy with it. It performs great, very snappy and a great laptop over all.

But here's where my OCD kicks in... The display seems to be slightly off centre, and looking online apparently this can happen and there's ways to fix it but I don't seem to have any of the options on Windows 11.

Basically it seems like the last let's say 1 or 2mm of the panel on the right side is not being used, but the left side goes right to the bezel of the laptop, and its driving me crazy even though most wouldn't even notice it.

It may seem pretty, but does anyone know how I could fix this on windows 11?

My graphics drivers are up to date aswell.

I'd much rather have 2 very thin black lines on both sides than only one side 😅

It may seem a bit over the top but if anyone knows a fix please let me know.

I can send a photo if needed ahaha.

Thanks everyone!

Modern displays mostly don't have a picture shifting option like the CRT's of old. I wouldn't expect a laptop to include that either. Your issue seems like a manufacturing defect worth an RMA ticket if it really bothers you.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
