Your bottleneck IS the GPU. You won't achieve anything by overclocking your CPU. If you want more performance overclock your GPU.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Reducing CPU overclock wont reduce your GPU bottleneck, if your primary bottleneck is your GPU (which it is).

SO best bet to put the CPU back down to 4.8ghz then right?

No, don't underclock. That would be stupid.

EVERY PC has a bottleneck and for most PCs that's the GPU. Even with my 5600x and 3080 build my GPU is still the bottleneck in pretty much any game i throw at it. It's pretty easy to find out what is the bottleneck.

If your GPU runs at or around 99% or higher when gaming, then it's the bottleneck. If it's under 95%, then something else is limiting your performance, likely the CPU.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

If the temps @5.1 bother you, then surely.

Temps is not worring, MAx is 68c mostly around 50c

SInce I OC my CPU I have seen better performance

ENd of the day I say it's just a simple payware Fenix A320 that is just made badly as it's using allot. everything else is all good.

MSFS2020 is always makes my GPU running high at over 90% to 100%

Depends. In most games overclocking a CPU even with a general GPU limitation, it should smooth out the FPS lows. There are always scenes of heavy CPU loading and most GPUs catch a little break, even a 1660ti. The OC would help reduce that.
