lockscreen cracker

Finally after years and years I've revived and repaired my old Z1 compact phone. All works but I've come to a surprising hurdle. The lock combo/pattern is wrong. I've got my only combo written down that was supposed to be on the phone yet it's still saying it's wrong. I can't get in.

Hard resetting the phone's not an option because I need to rescue all the family photos. Can't use any apps via USB because you normally have to accept USB connection to PC after you've unlocked your phone and usb is alredy taken up as I have to use a wireless mouse to micro usb because I've yet to replace the cracked screen.

Anyone know what I could use to get into the phone? I'm thinking something bruteforce but I've only found one tool to do so and it was a bruteforce auto pattern tester that cost like $5000 from a guy who makes it in Poland... Looking at my negative bank balance, that's not an option.

Would greatly appreciate help.
