Whenever I see those stupid flashy adverts that tell me I need to repair my windows errors to free up my dwindling disk space I want to make my own similar adverts that direct people to a simple webpage informing them of why these adverts are fraudulent crap and why they should never ever click them. I imagine it would especially help the elderly.

 

Thoughts? Would that be something worth doing?

While I think it is a great idea...  The elderly would would not quite get it just like they do not quite get the fake ads, so it would probably do nothing.

I'd ignore the ... users who tell you ad's benefit you, as they've been brainwashed already. Ads basically want to extract money from your wallet with little or no regards as to whether you actually need the product, hence the plethora of ad's irrelevant to you or the size of your wallet.

 

Living ad free means living with an open mind to seek what you want not get blasted with tons of marketing BS which will make you lose your goals for their goals.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.
