Help please

So I bought this motherboard it says it supports ddr4 but when I try to put it in it legit does not lineup or fit. I’m gonna cry am I just stupid or what.

The notch in the DIMM should line up with the bump in the slot if you face it the other way.

 

This is why I miss the second notch in PC133 and FPM DIMMs. DDR4's notch is almost centered.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Hey I know I tried it the other way and it still doesn’t line up 😕

DDR2 - 70.68 mm
DDR3 - 54.68 mm
DDR4 - 71.6  mm

 

DDR1 RAM contains 184 Pins.
DDR2 RAM contains 240 Pins.
DDR3 RAM contains 240 Pins.
DDR4 RAM contains 288 Pins.

You're certain they didn't send you the DDR5 version of your board by mistake?

You are right I accidentally researched the asus p  d4 and not knowing there is two version I ordered the p only. So it’s my fault at the end lol thanks for all your help.
