i've got problem with the egpu for my laptop.(anyone pls help)

so i have gtx1050 ti and connect it to the external pcie express which the small one with no boxes. i've connect it to the power supply (24 pin) and (4 pin), the data cable to the lan port at my laptop.

already setup the bios and when i turn my laptop on = the gpu's fan rotate for seconds and stop then my screen just black but the laptop not off

 

i really appreciate for any advice

I'm not too savvy about this product, but.
Have you made sure you bought the EXP GDC version that fits your Lenovo G40 WIFI Lan card

yes, NGFF M.2 A key the one with same shape as my wifi lan card.

the laptop and the card both are working but to work respectively... im not so sure about that, pls clear me out if there's something about the laptop and the card to be compatible to each other. i'll learn much if you tell me something so i dont repeat after this
