Hudl 2 Android tablet not connecting to WiFi

Jezzdabezz

I have a Tesco Hudl 2 tablet and I want too connect it too my FritzBox! 7530 router. I have the fritzbox connected to another 7530 in a mesh setup. I try too connect too my tablet too my FritzBox! then it tries to and then immediately gives up not even showing a hint. it connects when I disable the security on the network and it connects with WPA2 802.11AC 5GHz wifi hotspot on my phone. I have even tried a second Hudl 2 and it does the exact same thing. it also connects too a tp link WIFI repeater. So I think I have something set wrong on the FritzBox!

If you know have any slight ideas comment below any help would be great!

Check if the Fritzbox only allows connections via WPA3, the Hudl will be too old to support that authentication protocol.
