For a 5500, a liquid cooler is completely unnecessary. The box cooler is more than enough, and that budget can be spend upgrading to 3200 CL16 ram (~$70), and the 450W bronze is gonna be struggling for anything beyond base clock operation, never cheap out on power supplies. And a320 is going to cripple performance for the 6500xt.

I think you could get by with a Wraith cooler on the 5500, so unless you're planning a zen3 upgrade later, you could save some money there. I actually air cool the mighty 5900X with a Scythe Mugen 5 and three 120s. I would also verify whether the A320 can work with a 5000-series Ryzen.

I'll beat them to it... I used the Asus Tuf B550-PLUS. The B550-PRO has a 3.2 Gen 2 front header if you need it. A 550-650W Bronze or Gold should be fine for this. That case is quite nice for the price, methinks, better airflow than my 4000X Corsair for less $$$.

so it the case needed

Cases are generally easy to pick up on the used market for cheap, sometimes even free, and if you are looking for something to make your rig special, you can look at a local thrift store for an old computer and make it a sleeper and pick up a case for like $20.

I'd be checking the used market right now, saw some good deals recently in that price range.

But, sticking with your build, as said above: 2x8gb 3200 ram, stock cooler, better mobo.
