Haven't had any issues with my ryzen 5 5500u on windows 11

Minecraft plugin developer

Desktop:
CPU= I5 12400F
RAM = 2x 32gb DDR4 3200MHZ Corsair Vengeance LPX
Motherboard = MSI Z690-A-PRO Wifi DDR4
GPU= RTX 3050
SSD = Samsung 980 Pro 1TB
PSU= Corsair RM750

Laptop:
CPU= AMD Ryzen 5 5500u
RAM= 1X 4gb (soldered 3200mhz), 1x 16gb ddr4 3200mhz (so-dimm)
SSD= Samsung 970 Evo 1TB

Been working fine for me since release, and i had 3700x, 5600x and now 5900x.

 

You should be fine upgrading to 11.

1st, that issue was extremely rare

2nd, AMD AGESA 1.2.0.7. fixed it, and it's available (as a beta bios) to many B550 and X570 motherboards.

That is not AMD or microsoft issue, is the motherboard issue.

if you have problem, follow the guide for your (particular) motherboard.

you were asking about ftpm problem, well that's an isolated problem for a particular motherboard.

i and most of commenters here have no problem with that.

in fact you were asking what issues and i linked to the thread answering that question.  

Also OP didn't specify what issues and since there's a huge thread with people complaining about specific ftpm issues its a pretty safe bet that yes, there are indeed still issues  (msi for example straight up admitting to it)
