I need to somehow use my old laptop as a second display for my main pc. Both run on windows 11. Does anyone know how to do it?

Unfortunately you can't just connect a cable from the desktop to the laptop and go like you might be imagining. The HDMI or DisplayPort on your PC and laptop are both display outputs. Though they may look identical to the ports on a monitor, they aren't inputs. They can only send a signal, not receive one from another device.

The only way to do it is through various ways of casting from one computer to the other over a network.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
