The lineup consists of three different devices: the Adaptive Mouse, Adaptive Buttons, and the Adaptive Hub. The mouse and buttons are made to support 3D-printed accessories so you can customize them to work the way you want them to. My thoughts This is quite good news that Microsoft of all companies makes a accessory like this. The market for this kind of gadgets/tools is quite small, and niche, most tools people use are custom made product, "trough 3d printing", or just DIY modding a existing product. And the products that DO exist, like Singlehanded keyboards, are often quite expensive. Once the product is releases I think the 3D printing Community is going haywire, with trying to make a ultimate deskpad type tool, making people able to use multiple items all at once, without the need to switch between hub, or adaptive controller. Lets at least hope Microsoft makes the software of the button Opensource, or based on QMK. allowing even more customization, trough the use of multiple pads, and layered macro's. especially as it is a Niche market, having it open source, means more people can work and improve the firmware. Posted May 11, 2022 How nice of them. Don't know anyone personally that needs this sort of stuff but if it helps people, then it's a good thing.
