Aorus X570SI Pro AX rev. 1.1 no ethernet controller

Hey guys,

I just built a new pc and do not have any ethernet or wifi controllers.

I have tried bios updates, driver updates, driver installs, Uninstalling drivers and reinstalling them. I have checked the bios and found the Intel ethernet is disconnected.

Does is show disabled in the BIOS? I'm not sure what you mean by disconnected.

I would assume you have a cable connected and running to a router or switch (however you're setup).

For wireless do you have the antenna attached? If not you're not going to get a signal.

What does windows show on either the ethernet or wifi status?

Yeah it shows it is disconnected in bios.

I tested different wires and I do have the antenna connected.

Device manager does show them but in misc hardware, I'll up load a screen shot later as I'm at work atm

It would be good to explain what the solution turned out to be in case anybody else with a similar problem runs across this thread in the future.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

So found out it was a dumb mistake on my part 🙃  I installed 32bit OS and not 64bit OS.

32 bit version of windows 10?  That's still a thing?  Yikes.
