Will a egpu work with this laptop?

Will a egpu work on USB C with the ASUS 15.6" VivoBook F515

I am going to use my zotac GeForce GTX 1650 low profile in the egpu can I use the inbuilt laptop display with the graphic card? And can it run games like GTA 5? And how do you plan on adding a eGPU to that thing? In any way, dont waste a dime on a Pentium machine, especially not on a pentium laptop.

USB C is a connector. USB is a protocol and so is thunderbolt. If you dont have thunderbolt support (which you dont), you are not going to be using eGPU via USBC.

Yeah for the $400 or so bucks that a eGPU enclosure would cost you could probably get a better laptop. I didn't realize they still made 1Ghz processors for consumer electronics outside of like children's toys or specialized applications.

The only way to get a E-gpu working, would be trough a Franken-mod system, where you use one of the M.2 ports with a cable to a external GPU enclosure/stand

And this assumes M2/MPCIE slot is not whitelisted like %90 of the laptops out there.

1.1GHz is base for low power consumption. It runs up to 3.3GHz burst.

All core load is around 2.0-2.4ghz which would be what it would do in gaming. Either way this cpu has the performance of a over decade old mid range cor 2 so it's going to suck.

 

 

As for op you cannot connect a egpu to this device. Hell for the price of the dock alone you could buy a better laptop use (or even new :p).

 

My advice here is to save up and get a better computer in general egpu will NOT work as you do NOT have thunderbolt.
