looking for a decent colour accurate monitor

Kinn_Slayer

I do graphic design and UI. I wanna upgrade from my laptop screen( omen15) to a 4k monitor with good colour accuracy in around $400 -$500.

I don't know much about monitors, so it would be great if you guys can help me

PS. If the above resolution is not possible in my budget then I please tell me some 1440p monitors

Thanks🙂

If you absolutely need colour accuracy then its gonna cost as pre-calibrated monitors come at a price.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

for around that price, i'd pay a bit more for the u2720q over the pd2700 for 4k - this is what i'd recommend out of everything on this list

for 1440p i'd recommend the MSI MAG274QRF-QD, it's marketed as a gaming monitor but it is just that good for 400usd

for pure colorwork at 400usd and if all you care about is color accuracy, gray scale and LUT, my recommendation would be the BENQ SW240 at 400usd

4k version of the SW240 cost 800usd
