I have no idea about the currency conversion differences but it is a pretty sweet rig.

Edit: So if he is offering you it for $1000 and it isn't laden with child pornography, then take it.

you can price it out on pcpartpicker.com then cut like %20 off that price since it has been used.

2014-04-21_1431.png

2014-04-21_1432.png

So that's the overall price not including the extra motherboard and the windowed case mod and the LED and the extra fans.

20% off 1763.81

$1411 so $1400.

Clean it up and I would say $1200.

I'd pay around $1100 if it got a good clean.

It's not really dirty its just the pics were taken with an old iphone so terribad quality, unless you mean the cable management which I suppose could use a LITTLE work.

Who the hell spends $600 on a 680? Also you should use the CA version of pcpicker.

It's not.

OH YES IT IS

It would basically be letting yourself get robbed if you sold that for $1000.

"M. Aronnax." replied the Canadian, "your arguments are rotten at the foundation. You speak in the future, 'We shall be there! we shall be here!' I speak in the present, 'We are here, and we must profit by it.'"

Haha I would love too but I don't have the money, nor can I justify the purchase. And according to PC parts picker it would be $1764  in US monies or $1823 in Canadian monies, but I dunno about pricing for way over there. That's just what he listed it for on kijiji/local facebook buy/sell/trade group.

yeah I switched over to the Canadian version after I noticed I could and the price was $1823 like I said up there ^ and yeah I was trying to find a 680 with similair specs as the lightning since it wasn't on PCPartsPicker, and that one was but costs $40 more, NewEgg listed the 680 Lightning for $560 before it went out of stock. I figured the extra cost would make up for the custom windowed side panel he built onto it.

That is too low for a system like that.

That's an older equivalent of my current system.

That build is worth more then 1K.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

A 680 is basically a 770, I would say its more $1300-$1500. You never know what people may pay but do offer a 'make an offer' feature so they can give you an idea of what they would pay. I managed to get my 6 month used Z77 MPOWER board sold for £150 and I only paid £155 for it. Guess it was an uncommon item.

Well he ended up selling it to another good friend of his for $800, and they are both happy (he can now afford to get his car back on the road and his buddy can now play LoL although a 680 is a bit overkill for just LoL) but yeah. Quite the steal on his buddy's part, If only I had the money at the time and I coulda gotten it at that price xD, but hey they are both happy so whatever works.
