I7 or I5

Hello everyone!

 

I am building my first gaming/streaming pc and would like to know if i5 12600k is good for streaming? Or i should get i7 12700k .?

 

if i choose i7 i will go with rtx3060,

if i choose i5 i can do rtx3060ti or rtx3070 (ti) or rx6700xt

 

please help))

Definitely get the i5 with a better graphics card. Not only is 10 cores plenty for streaming, but you can use Nvenc to encode your stream anyway.

a 12600k with an rtx 3070 will be way better than a 12700k with a 3060

The 12600K is an absolutely great CPU. You wont be disappointed.

Alder lake is one of the best things to come out of intel since the 8700k, 4th gen, or 2nd gen. With the beefier video card, your system will dominate. Enjoy your bud!
