Old NAS, good deal or stay away?

Recently I randomly came across a Synology DS211J from 2010.

The guy is selling it with a 2TB WD Green Drive for $30 excluding shipping.

 

Would it be a good gamble to mess with as my first NAS? Or steer clear away from it? I only need a NAS for backups, I already have many external HDDs.

It only has 128MB RAM though. I assume the software is also outdated.

If you wanna tinker and mess around $30 isnt exactly the end of the world. I personally would get it for shits and giggles. For actually using it as storage unit? I wouldnt, especially with the HDD it comes with.
