Vlan with subnet 0 and subnet 1

krish711

Hello,

I need to VLSM 172.16.0.0/24 into 4 and 32 hosts which I did and received the follwing details:

(32 hosts): 172.16.0.0/26
first address: 172.16.0.1/26
last address: 172.16.0.62/26
broadcast: 172.16.0.63/26
subnet mask: 255.255.255.192

(4 hosts): 172.16.0.64/29
first usable address: 172.16.0.65/29
last usable address: 172.16.0.70/29
broadcast: 172.16.0.71/29
subnet mask: 255.255.255.248

Please correct me if I'm wrong with this...

After that, I need to create two sub interfaces with VLAN 10 to be in Subnet 0, VLAN 20 to be in Subnet 1 on a router.

This is what I don't understand. What ip address should I give to each interface and what subnet mask.

I would really appreciate if someone can help with this.
