Looking for some 34" or 38" UltraWide options

Hey yall, I'm wanting to snag a 34" or 38" Ultra wide. I'm mainly going g to be doing gaming, but I am doing some photoshop work aswell(new photographer here) so I'm wanting something with pretty good colors aswell. I'm open for most all options, just want it to be 34" or 38" other than that give me all of your opinions on the many options out there and things to research. Thanks yall Edit: I would also prefer curved options. Not required but its my preference

Something to keep in mind:  One limiting factor on monitors is how much gpu do you have to drive them.  Also the more pixels the lower the fps.  A 38” Ultrawide would be a lotta lotta pixels.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

If budget is not a problem, go for the Alienware AW3423DW. It's about as good as current monitors get in general.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

If I end up going QDOLED, id like to wait for more monitors to come out with that panel other than just the Alienware. Personally im not a fan of the look of the white, it clashes with the theme I have a lot. Otherwise I agree with the fact that it is a great monitor. Its probably the monitor I have done the most research on so far on my own aswell.

Because you haven't listed your budget, M34WQ would be the best value monitor while still having great picture quality and pixel response time for gaming.

But now that I saw you prefer curved ultrawide, you could try look into LG 34GN850/34GP83-A instead. Similar as before: great colours and response time on a curved screen.

X2 based on this monitor great things are to come in the next 2 years.  This made it 10x more viable of an option vs a large TV that isn't QD, as bright and burns in easier.  I may get one to replace my AOC UW as early as next year (may or may not be Alienware more will come out).

Sweet, I appreciate it. Reason for no budget is I was want l possible options. I like to see options in different price points cause I might end up going for the "cheaper" if it appeals enough. Been great help, thanks
