Sometimes I need to competely re-signin to windows instead of using my pin

Sometimes when I turn on my pc instead of being able to use my pin to sign, in that spot it says, "Sign in". Then, it takes me to a microsoft login box, where i have to put in my password and then re-enter my pin as if  I just got the computer. If anyone has any ideas on why this happens please let me know.

Windows 11, but before i updated it did the same thing if thats what you mean
