Something tripped while playing Cities Skylines on my new PC. Help?

maxtch

I play some pretty heavily modded Cities Skylines. However one day something tripped on my computer during a gaming session. Can someone tell me what might be the problem?

Here is the specs on that computer:

  • GPU: Sapphire RX 480 8GB (this has been with me for ages.)
  • SSD: Samsung PM981 2TB NVMe M.2 22110 (server SSD with ridiculous amounts of capacitors on it.)
  • CPU Cooler: EVGA CLC 120mm AIO + Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fan
  • PSU: EVGA Supernova GA 750
  • Case: Rosewell 4U rack-mount case
  • Ethernet: nVidia ConnectX-3 EN 10GbE/RoCE PCIe card

What happened next? If it happened just one time its impossible to say.

What do you mean by "tripped"?

Can you reproduce it?

How are temps while playing?

How much RAM do you have? Modded Cities Skylines uses quite a lot.

It also uses a lot of VRAM depending on eyecandy level and texture quality. On my RX6800XT it uses 12-13GB VRAM when maxed out
