Missing Nvme SSD

Hi Y’all,

In my newest build, I installed a 1TB nvme boot drive and a 2TB nvme mass storage drive. I’m able to see both of them in the BIOS, but when I open windows, it only shows the 1TB boot drive. How could I get this resolved? I’ve already used up most of my storage with game files, so the mass storage will be necessary soon. Thanks!

It'll be blank. Open Disk management, it'll likely ask you to initialize the drive, then create a partition on it.

Thanks! For anyone else with this problem, it’s actually under “Disk Manager” not “Disk Managment”

Now that I stumbled across it, I remembered that I have a similar issue.

 

I transplanted a 250 GB Samsung 850 Evo M.2 from my old Build to my new one.

It was previously a boot drive for my old PC.

 

Now it is meant to be secondary storage, but it is not showing up in BIOS or Disk Management. I know it is installed correctly and all the way, I have reseated it multiple times. It's installed in the 2nd M.2 slot if that is relevant.

The first slot is occupied with a 1 TB NVMe drive that is also my new boot drive.
