"Rainbow Dash Wizardry Mark III", an evolution of my previous Overclocked, Silent RGB Build.

This new PC is an evolution of my previous PC build, "Rainbow Dash Wizardry MK II", and now the Mark III/MK III. Built and finished in Jan 2022.

And let's just say, building this was not only harder than any system I built, but also the sourcing of the parts. It was so difficult to get this GPU and CPU in my country due to the shortage.

Nonetheless, it's done! The same features and target as my previous system, but with definite performance gains compared to the previous one. So thought I share it! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions, sure! 🙂

Description of my build Part 1: (pretty much a copy paste from the other forum post since it's the primarily the same motive/goal):

Spoiler

Rainbow Dash Wizardry Mark III (RDW MK3) is my personal evolved, completed gaming and workstation rig I built. It was inspired from the PC built in LTT's Ultimate RGB PC Build Guide but made to suit my needs - optimized for overclocking and whisper quiet operation, even during a heavy, synthetic workload.

This build was designed to ensure that the user get:

- A no compromises, stable gaming experience with very high frame rate

- Continuous synthetic, overclocked load without throttling

- basking in RGB Glory (which is something a gaming PC "NEEDS" now)

- Very Whisper Quiet operation

- Able to cool and work as well even in a non Air Conditioned environment of up to 34C

The name Rainbow Dash Wizardry came from LTT's Ultimate RGB PC Build Guide - "So let's turn the light's out... And bask, in it's outrageous Rainbow Dash Wizardry!" - Linus Sebastian

and because I am a Brony (a male fan of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic), there's no doubt that Rainbow Dash is best pony and the RGB build is the thing!

Feel free to ask me if you have any questions on the build! :D

Description of my build Part 2: (the differences to my MKII/Mark 2):

- To be used as a mining system (RTX 3080) and light gaming (GTX 1070) system in which I use the system to mind and play light games like Minecraft or good ol classics

- Next Generation RGB, all ARGB fans (compared to standard RGB fans) and the new Neon ARGB Strips)

- General System performance improvement to the previous system.

I am using the Sickleflow ARGB Reverse Edition

These fans have reversed blades so instead of airflow going out on the Grille side, it's on the open side.

So these are all bottom intake fans and radiator pull fans, without the ugly Grille on the airflow side 😉
