Logins are pissing off!

I reset the password, logged in on a few devices all was fine. Then I try into another device next day and it refuses the password what the hell? Y U DO DIS?!!

Is this logging into the forum? We're not aware of any issues with this - are you absolutely sure you got the password right?

I changed it the other day, I am 100% sure I know it but the issue is once done typing it there is no eye to press to see if it got spelled correctly?

Tip use password a manager either the browser in built one or third party such as keepass, lastpass etc.

Could be that you made typo when creating new password and now are trying to use the one you intended to type. Just reset again and add new. That's how I do with less used services.

That or the phone keyboards are to blame... Either way the website needs a option to see what is written I cannot tell what is wrong before I get blocked!

Yes, when you type on phone the keyboard may not give the letter ya want and no way to verify on the website like some other sites has.

I dislike that sites have such stringent password requirements and stuff now anyway

man its my own stuff, if I want my password to be “password” and never change it for a decade I will

now every month when I log into yahoo to check a backup email it wants me to change my password due to inactivity, reconfirm my phone number and Authenticator, I’m surprised I’m not sending in biometric logins over web browsers already

I actually sent in a support ticket because I kept getting the following error trying to log in (see attached).

 

Funny thing is my browser (FF) has my login/password saved and I DID NOT make any changes. My initial thought was a certificate expired on March 1st since all was good yesterday, but then I went to my laptop using the same browser and everything works. Checking my insanity I also did a full malware scan and that didn't bring up anything either. I am at my wits end with this garbage - I have tried restarting the system, closing/reopening the browser and deleting the FF cache as well and it just fails to let me log back in again. What's going on???

Phones tend to make the first letter you type capital,

So make sure to correct it.

Well first letter is capital so that should not be a issue?

One trick of mine that i do is write the password in notepad,then copy and paste it and close notepad without saving.
