Posted February 21, 2022 Are there any ultrawide monitors with an ability to split the screen into 1 16:9 middle and the sides into whatever is left, tricking the os into thinking there are 3 monitors? This is the only way I would ever get an ultrawide and it stems from me always wanting the same res height for the side monitors, but vertical. If I had one wish, I would ask for a big enough ass for the whole world to kiss
Posted February 21, 2022 Lots of different software options, no hardware...not sure how you'd even do that. You'd need a pretty big ultrawide to make that worth while. Nah, Its not like i would want horizontal space if thats what you are thinking, also the ultrawides at LG have hardware implementation, but its only two 16:9 and I would want one centered 16:9. And Software solutions are limited. I dont like being limited to windows. 1 minute ago, FloRolf said: I am curious as to why you would want that? It's a common feature called picture-by-picture (PbP), but I don't know of any that will give the split that the OP wants. Usually it's just half and half.
