What is this SSD Connection? ( Apple MacBook Air 2011 11' )

Hey guys, my macbook died.

 

After a time machine the computer just shut and would not turn on again, according to the bips the problem was in the ram ( very unfortunate ) so I'm thinking about using it as an external drive but I'm not certain about the connection to buy the case/enclosure, the one I'm thinking about buying says it supports B-Keys and M&B-Keys SSDs.

 

My device is a MacBook Air A1370 with a 256 SSD

If I"m understanding your question correctly, you need an NVMe drive, not an SATA drive.  So whatever m.2 supports NVMe should work.

You want to use the drive from the MacBook as an external drive in an enclosure, correct? If so then you'll need a different enclosure. It's a proprietary drive, and it doesn't use an M.2 slot.

There are adapters for like 30$ on aliexpress, to convert that apple connector it to the standard M.2 kay B AHCI. But the adapters are longer than normal SSD, so it's destroying the point of it. It will not fit in the standard USB enclosure
