CPU fan error

Recently installed NZXT Kraken X63 on my ASUS ROX X570 E mother board and on boot i get CPU fan error message.(AMD Ryzen 3800X)

I followed all the internet fixes:

1. Check the fan ports on mother board

2. "Ignore" CPU Fan speed in Bios

3. CMOS reset

4. Remove battery

None of it worked,

Please help!

Welcome to the forums!

Tried swapping whatever fan is on your CPU with a different one in the case?

Is this a new build, first boot, and you're getting this issue; or is it a build you've had for a while and just now this is happening?

I had this build for 2 years, I just switched from NZXT Kraken M22 to NZXT Kraken X63. First boot after switching to the new CPU cooler and i have this error.

Ah. Sure your fan is on the correct pins?

If you put on the M22 does it work? AIO could be drawing too much power

Ah, not too much power from the PSU but rather from the motherboard which the PSU doesn't control the fan header power. You've tried just setting it to max speed in the BIOS right? and it won't let you boot so you can't use 3rd party programs, correct?

Sorry, does that mean its not a Power issue?

PSU power delivery and motherboard power delivery are different. It's not an issue with your PSU or your motherboard, eg neither are broken, but it's an issue that might be caused by your motherboard.

Ok so maybe I am asking the really dumb question. But just making sure, you are using these top right area fan headers, making sure the fan cable connects to the header on 2 on the left side. Correct?

Darn, wondering if that header is failing then. Especially since your old one does it now too. Best of wishes
