Best DNS server for Vancouver Canada.

I am trying to find the fastest and most secure DNS server to replace the stock Telus ones with. If anyone has some suggestions I would really appreciate them. Thanks in advance.

Fastest isn't usually too important these days as most if not all routers will cache DNS results.

I used to be able to feel the difference between a faster and slower DNS server, literally can't any more even though my router does FULL DNS so IS a DNS server, the slowest option.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

For me cloudflare (1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1) is the fastest but I like to use quad9 (9.9.9.9, 149.112.112.112) because It offers malware protection and the speeds stop making a difference after a certain point.
