Go in device manager, right click on device, hit properties, and you have there a bunch of stuff... look for vendor ids, hardware ids etc ... that may tell you who made the device google those codes  ... for example VID_046D  is vendor ID, 046D is registered to Logitech , so I know it's a Logitech mouse. PID_C051 is product ID C051 ... and if you google for these two, results say it's Logitech MX518 mouse : https://www.google.com/search?q=vid_046d+pid_c051

This won't necessarily tell you who made the physical chip inside the dongle, for example c-media is a company that makes usb audio chips but they're sold to various companies and companies use their own IDs to sell products. Companies  can "upload" their own IDs into the chip or into a separate small chip connected to this audio chip, and then the audio chip reports itself as that company's product, not as a c-media product.

But at least if you get some extra information you could google for more stuff, like in my case I could say "logitech mx518 teardown" or "review" to look for pictures of the insides or for more details about the product and chips used.

Well, like I said, a quick google search for those IDs reveals this card uses same IDs :

USB Soundkarte, TechRise Externen USB Stereo Sound Card Adapter - SKU:AA50311-BLACK / BULK:KXT074 has (VID_0C76&PID_161F) -3x 3,5mm connector and volume wheel

Here's a link for the product : https://www.ubuy.com.pl/en/product/KZ1XIBCM-usb-sound-card-techrise

A very similar product is here, on techrise amazon store : Amazon link : https://www.amazon.com/TechRise-External-Adapter-Splitter-Converter/dp/B01J7P0OGI?th=1

The description says  X-media 200B chipset
