Need advice for PC build

Toni G. A.

Budget (including currency): Around 1000 USD

Country: Bulgaria

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I will use this PC mostly for games and work(app don't use many system resources)

Other details

I think this build have good compatibility https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mG26Mb

I hesitate between Ryzen 7 5700G and Ryzen 7 5800X. I'm looking at 5700G for iGPU and stock cooler. About motherboard MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk, MSI MAG B550 Torpedo or ASUS TUF Gaming B550-plus. Asus motherboard is cheap. My question: is this build good. I accept any suggestions for choosing better PC components

I have Laptop ASUS K55VM year 2012

CPU: i7-3610QM

GPU: HD Graphics 4000 and GeForce GT 630M - 2 GB

RAM: 2X4GB DDR3 1600MHz

I want to change this laptop mostly because games are run at very low FPS or in most cases do not start.

Just a warning, the int graphics on the 5700G are equivalent to an RX 550.

I know finding a GPU is hard right now, but if you are trying to run any demanding games, it won't be too fun of an experience.

My only advise is encouraging you that is very easy to get a GPU at near MSRP with some work. Check out Falcodrin on Twitch. BestBuy stocks almost weekly, Microcenter usually has stock in store too. New Egg Shuffle.

I took a look at your build, yo could downgrade the storage, in my opinion the m.2 you added is a bit overkill given the other specs. Also you can downgrade the RAM given that the supported speed of the CPU you’ve chosen is up to 3200. Maybe you can save a buck on that for a future GPU
