So when I play some games like Cyberpunk and Halo on my 3060 I get some weird pixelation in certain areas. Almost a aura around ppl and hair

Might be some post processing in your monitor maybe?  TVs are usually the major offenders there but one never knows.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

You might be right. I gotta try my HDMI port and my brothers monitor. I have a 43 inch 4k monitor I use too but like you can hardly compare 1080p cyberpunk on a 3060 to 4k cyberpunk on a 3060.

Depends on how you compare them.  1 is under powered the other is overpowered.

You say overpowered.. Look at the bottom right of the screen for a second. That was my FPS at near max settings in an attempt to rid myself of this.
