As I started to play Rainbow 6, I've noticed that "packet loss" have been showing up quite a lot even though the latency is extremely low.

I also suspect other games have the same issue such as Roblox generally in some quick reaction games.

I have no clue what to do right now as this is quite annoying, thanks.

Through Wifi

Ok, what adapter make/model/etc?

Distance from the router?

Make/model of the router?

Wireless is not a guaranteed delivery system, packet loss is going to happen over WiFi and be much more prone to interference and other drops compared to a wired connection.

Let's make this simple.

It is definitely an issue due to the router from ISP.

Is there any mid-range router recommendations out there that can suit me? That would be pretty amazing.

Thanks.

The router from the ISP might not be a router but might be a gateway (Modem router combo). You dont want to hook a router to a router, that can and will cause issues in some cases. So you need to determine what that ISP box is. Which is why @Lurick asked for model numbers and such, so we understand what kind of device we are dealing with.

Also @Lurickis correct. WiFi is not guaranteed in terms of performance or stability. Before you buy anything you need to check out the airwaves. I know there are many WiFi analyzer apps for Android such as WIFi Analyzer which I have used. This will detect all the networks around you, and tell you what wireless channels are the best to use. As well as allow you to check signal strength around your home.  Some times some configuration changes can help.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
