Hey guys,

I've recently started to have lots of blue screens with my machine. Everything seems to be working fine but I wanted to test my RAM. I turn to you guys for advice on what to use.

Before someone says "Have you looked in the forum", yes I have. I couldn't find anything useful. I'd like to test my RAM to see if any are faulty and if not, I'll have to go testing the rest of my components.

Thanks in advance,

Venomz1337.

Use Memtest86 to test your RAM. Let it run for 3-6 passes and see if there are any errors.

How exactly does it work? I'm a noobie when it comes to testing stuff.

EDIT: Do I basically have to put memtest onto a usb drive and then boot it when starting up my PC?

You download and burn the Memtest .ISO onto a DVD or USB stick and then you boot from it. From there the program explains what you should do to start the test, and then you just let it run.

It might be your RAM, or possibly your OC (though x42 should probably be fine at 1.25V). Only testing will find out.

I removed the overclock ages ago. Everything is running stock and has been worse for some reason. I will give it a go now. Cheers lads!
