Unsupported Hardware Windows 11 driver issues

Cerdjee4
Go to solution Solved by Cerdjee4,

As it turns out, I am just a big blind dumbdumb.

The necessary driver was available on the supportpage for my computer, but I just missed it, because I'm a big blind dumbdumb.

thanks anyway, people.

Just to try it out, I've installed Windows 11 on my secondary computer, a dell Inspiron 5577 with a Intel i5 7300HQ CPU.

Now, everything sort of works, the computer is fully functional running Windows 11 (in practice). However, when I go to Device Manager, I see that there are several driver issues; as can be seen in the picture.

I realize that, since my hardware is technically does not support windows 11, incompatibility would most likely be the cause of these issues and that there is probably no solution for it.

I am, however, curious about what these issues actually mean, what the possible causes are, and if it could potentially cause any problems if I continue running Windows 11 on my hardware.

While I did google the issues, I was unable to find a definitive explanation.

I am hoping that perhaps someone might be able to answer these questions here.

Either way, thank you for reading my post.

I have tried that before.

Unfortunately, rather than solving anything, it just BSODs my computer.

It does not. It simply claims that it is up to date.

On some hardware, missing drivers are a thing.

though I doubt the issue is that it truely doesn’t have support.

I got it installed on a core 2 quad q6600 and it worked perfectly, faster than on windows

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

That will have to be the case then, I am sorry.

I installed on unsupported hardware as well and never got all those Unknown devices sorted out.

Try using driver booster. I have used that in the past with great success. Just make sure they you don't auto pilot through the install process because it does try to install bloat with it. Or if you want a more manual approach, look into driver identifier.
