I've started upgrading an old pc to make it more modern. This is how it looks so far. Also I'm using the old threadripper parts from it and building a watercooled server from them.

So far it has a temp cpu in it until new cpu's come out to replace the 5950x. (Currently 5700g)

64gb 3600mhz ram

Asus Crosshair VIII extreme

1tb Seagate 530 ssd (Another 2tb one ordered for my game drive)

480mm rad in the top, dual 360mm rads in the bottom. Dual d5 pumps. Tonnes of bitspower fittings and ek blocks

1200 watt psu

Only a small bit of spinning rust as I've a 2U dell R720 with 100tb of storage

360mm rad, tonnes of bitspower fittings and a corsair res/pump combo.

1000watt Seasonic Prime Tx

I just have to find a suitable server case for it all.

Work in progress for both of the systems so far. Bit rig needs a clean on the plexi.

 The server I used a really cheap case and just cut it up to fit a 360mm rad.

This is the back and bottom compartment of the UV rig. I still need to change the gpu cables and add the drain port to the back of the case instead of just hanging their.

I had to downsize this PC as my son really wanted the little devil case and I wanted him to have it.

Yea the button screws are a pain anytime you want to do maintenance on the system.

I looked into that but for this version (has the phase change unit as its taller) its about 1k and to buy again id rather spend the cash elsewhere.

ya if i was spending that moeny i would get the lian li 3000 thow i have no seen it in Canada... 

 

my dad was going to buy a ld case but i told him about the screws. later on a found an lian li case for him for $100 but it was old layout but he modded and put a rad in bottom and top.  he latter on got a Phanteks Enthoo Primo.
