Post amount won’t go over 100

Browser, version and OS: Safari on iOS 15.0.

 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened? I was waiting for my post amount to go over 100.

 

 

What happened? I posted an 2 SU’s and a post in Off Topic and it stayed at 99.

 

 

What did you expect to happen? I mean, I guess I was expecting to hit 100 posts.

Any other relevant details: I think this a bug, unless it’s like a setting or something. But, I can still post SU’s, posts, etc, and it still won’t hit 100.

 

 

If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

EDIT: I believe Forum Bugs and Issues doesn't count either.

It hasn't for as long as I remember. It's a big reason there's forum members with very few posts but big amounts of reputation points. 

 

And yeah, Forum Bugs and Issues doesn't count either it turns out.

Odd how Off Topic doesn't count.  I guess it is rooted in the purpose of the forum, which isn't a social engagement exercise but a huge machine to get answers to things that developers should be solving rather than lay people.

Since there are couple post count related thresholds, having OT counting would be too hard to police any spam and low quality content. It could also result as much harsher moderation in certain OT threads.
