How to watch Netflix in 4K Ultra HD

Not able to stream 4k Content on my LG 27UL850

 

My Specs

CPU - i5 8500k@5.0

GPU - GTX 1080

RAM - 16gb@3200
OS - Windows 11

Monitor - LG 27UL850 4k@60 and Acer Predator XB-271HU 1440p@165

 

 

I hooked my LGOLED C1 55 with PC it's able to stream 4k.

Do you have the paid subscription tier for Netflix? You can't have the basic plan and stream 4K.

STORAGE: 250GB ADATA SSD / 500GB WD Blue SSD / 1TB WD Blue HD

You need to use the Netflix App for 4k.  It won't work via web browser.

Your CPU is too old. To get 4K on Windows you need to be using a 7th gen or later Intel processor (idk about Ryzen, but I'd suspect it's the same supported list as Win 11) and be using either Edge or the native Windows app.

 

Isn't DRM just swell?

In that case, how are you connected to your screen? 4K also requires the connection to support HDCP 2.2. It should work via DisplayPort, but usually works more consistently over HDMI.

Any idea how can i check HDCP 2.2? in nvidia control panel i can see HDCP compatible monitor

Have a look at this thread i posted a while ago:

 

Maybe you just need these HEVC video extentions.
