Razer Viper sucks

oldperson

Is it just me?  Did I get a defective mouse?  I bought a Razer Viper mouse ($70.00 in Toronto) and it doesn't work as well as a cheap $20.00 Logitech mouse.  Its the double click when I'm playing Starcraft - it doesn't work half the time.  I end up frantically spamming the left mouse button because I can't select the units I want.  Not to mention the force required to register a click.  The cheap mouse I had before this did the job fine.

The "good" news is that it will be double-clicking when you don't want it to soon enough.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I suggest you to rma it, it obviously shouldn't do that. I have a viper ultimate and have no issues with the left or right clicks (yes, they are stiffer than the usual razer hair trigger clicks) and as far as I know the optical switches don't get the double clicking problem that is plaguing other razer and logitech mice.
