Why hasn't Noctua made a case?

They already sell case fans, why not go all the way?

They made excellent fans, the best in class. why would they sacrifice that reputation?

Having a new case department means you need more research and design team, probably more expensive than the fans.

Well, they helped making a graphics card, which is pretty awesome.

Unfortunately it's too expensive for my budget

Not forgetting most cases look quite the same, and Noctua rather not wants to become like thermaltake and copy most of the design of a case. [See caselabs X thermaltake, for the Core X** range]

i think at some point they will have to. that seems to be the theam. its not uncommon for bigger companys to buy others too.

Best not to go down that route like other companies. Most of the time its outsourced and rebranded anyway.

Why would it be a sacrifice? Knowing them, it'd be the best damn case ever and I can finally go all beige!

That's what got me thinking about it, it blew every tech reviewer away. I want more Noctua cooled stuff!

Because those have nothing to do with what Noctua does. Cases and GPUs have built in fans and are designed with airflow and thermals in mind. Noctua is the best at that.
