How much is my homebuilt PC worth if I decide to sell it?

Go to solution Solved by da na,

Depends on your local market but where I am that could get $400-500, in fact if you sold the PC and the gpu seperately you might get more (people can pay $400-500 for a 1660 super...)

Here are the specifications for my PC:

  • Ryzen 5 2600 CPU (w/ ARCTIC Alpine 64 Plus Cooler)
  • GTX 1660 Super Stormx
  • MSI B350M MORTAR Socket AM4 mATX
  • HyperX FURY DDR4 8 GB (2x4 GB)
  • Samsung 500 GB 850 EVO SSD (2 x 250GB)
  • BEQUIET BN297 500 W Semi-Modular Power Supply - 80 PLUS Gold Efficiency
  • Corsair Carbide 88R Windowed mATX/Mini-ITX Case
  • Corsair 120mm x 2 case fans (intake + exhaust)

What might I reasonably ask for if I sold this?

Thank you

You could push it between 800-1000$ depending on your area of course be prepared to get like 700-900 as that pricing is the haggling starting price. The part that is worth most is the 1660 super.

Your local market seems cheap.

In the UK you'd get about 400 to 500 pounds for a 1660 super which is like 550 to 650 USD

A ryzen 2600 is probably worth 100 pounds so about 130 USD

I'd try to either sell the whole thing as a ready to use PC for about 700 USD or sell the gpu and cpu separately and forget about the rest
