Thanks for the Help

<300w DC at full load.

What's your budget on the PSU again?

The Cooler Master Thunder 450-500w (B Series) and the Corsair VS450-550w are virtually the same units internally. Both the CM Thunder is rated 50w higher than it supposed to though, and since the CM Thunder 500w cost more and only offer one PEG connector, I would go with the Corsair VS450/550 over it.

My recommendation would be the Antec VP550P, it's better build / performing than the units above. It may be on the loud side (I'm not sure how loud is the Corsair and CM units are though).

Otherwise, I would get the Seasonic SS-400BT or SS-500BT. As I've have stated though, since these two versions are marketed as "Eco", they usually don't have a power cord and hopes you reused your old cable. Something to keep in mind.

SO I am building my 1st PC and can't decide which PSU to buy .

So far the decided Specs are

CPU = FX 8320

GPU = R7 260x

MOTHER BOARD = ASUS M5A97 R2.0

RAM 8 gb corsair vengeance 1600 mhz (4GBx2)

CASE = Source 210 or any other cheap but good enough ATX mid tower

Hard Drives =

1 x Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB

1 x wd caviar blue 1tb

PSU = YOU TELL

NOTE

My Budget For the motherboard is around 40-50 USD or 3000 Indian Rupees (cheaper is Better but do give some options).(I AM FROM INDIA) USE flipkart.com for Indian Pricing .

REGARDING MY SELECTION

I Am Aware That a FX 6300 with a R9 270 Will be a better Choice but the PC is not Primarily

for gaming SO the GPU and CPU are good for me.

And The HARD DRIVES are Form my Older Build Which were Upgraded Recently .

PLEASE READ

I personally think that a 450 or 430 Watts will be sufficient do let me know that will it be enough.

Also Tell me THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CX AND THE VS BRAND

MY CHOICES ARE

1. VS 450 http://goo.gl/N2Dk91

2. CX 430 http://goo.gl/aAiAcv

3.http://goo.gl/2vv7Mw ( Cooler Master Thunder 500W 500 Watts PSU)

4.http://goo.gl/t3YH7d ( Cooler Master Thunder 450w 450 Watts PSU

Regarding Upgrades

These are the only upgrades that are gonna happen down the line

1. NEW heatsink (hyper 212 EVO)

2. Another 1TB cavier blue

3.1 more fan

4 Optical Drive

{ OVERCLOCKING is not an option for me with this mother board so NO OVERCLOCKING }

Why would you spend ~$135-150 on a mediocre GPU but chose an 8320 without planning to overclock the CPU?

VS versus CX is pretty simple. CX is for starter builders/cheaper custom pc's, 80+ bronze rating and can come in semi-modular models. VS is the entry level line of PSU's from Corsair that have nothing special aside from the brand name. They're also stupidly expensive, apparently.

Edit: Night mode making my life hard. For w/e reason, some of the text is blending into the background of your post. Missed a decent amount of what was written.

~400W should be enough for your system with the upgades. Realistically, you might see around 320W of consumption under heavy workloads.

Go with neither. Go with an Antec or Seasonic psu.

Seconded...but still if u want to go with corsair...get the CX...

Looking at the rating for the +12v rail and 80+ certification, the CX430 on that site is the second revision in which it is more like a 380w unit. While both of them aren't particularly good entry level units, I would probably just go with the VS450 solely due to the higher +12v rating and the two PEG connectors.

Or get the Seasonic SS-400BT. I believe this units lack a power cord though.
