Check Google Chrome Extensions

I checked it and deleted anything suspicious and it seems to be gone now... I post here again is it occurs in the future..

Check Google Chrome Extensions

Also, check the applications. Some crappy search engines come with their own program, you will have to uninstall.

Control panel, uninstall programs. Look for the search engines in question and uninstall em via control panel.

I already did that and even included it in my post.

Try uninstalling and re-installing chrome?

If you actually read the thread, you would have seen that he already found the solution.

Just use Gizoogle....

Even after he was changing it, it would switch back to Conduit after a restart of Chrome

I'd go ahead and run a scan with SAS.

My bad. Kind of tired.

edit: I'd still run a scan with SAS to remove any leftovers.

I find SAS a bit better at adware than Mbam. Still both awesome programs.

Bloody conduit.

Run MalwareBytes full scan to clear up the remaining files etc. Uninstalling the program is not enough with conduit unfortunately

Consider buying MalwareBytes premium. They have a special deal on currently, life time licenses. http://www.malwarebytes.org/eureka/
