uses for old ps4

so my PS4 quit working and my disc drive stoped working so I used the hard drive for my friends PS4 but I put a new hdd in mine and tried the install system software and now I get a error that means there is an error with the ribbon cable what can I do with this PS4 to use it again

You can buy a used disc drive for your model# and swap it. (Look up the ifixitguide) Or just bring it to a repair shop/indy repair guy to get it fixed.
