Would appreciate sugestions for my first build (for good this time)

Vectoras

A while ago I have made this post:

Right now my brother has come back to the ideea and is ready to spend some money on a PC. It has the same purpose professional photo editing + gaming (Fifa 2021, Call of Duty, Bannerlord, others)

Budget (including currency): 1800 - 2000 euro excluding the videocard (which we already have)

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Lightroom, Photoshop, games some of which mentioned above

Other details: WE ALREADY HAVE THE VIDEO CARD, an Nvidia 3060 Ti

Bellow are two lists of parts from Amazon, one Intel and one AMD, your critical thoughts will be appreciated:

He really likes that case and is somewhat interested in RGB. Might be open on sugestions for other cases only if they are glass / transparent.

Really don't get an i9-11900KF... Go with the AMD parts list but get a 5800X no point going higher for gaming and photo editing. I would also recommend not doing water cooling for your first build. You could get a Noctua NH-U9S chromax black air cooler that performs amazing and looks great instead.

I'd probably go with an i7/i9 12th gen , the i7 12700k beats the 5900x on average, in adobe suite always. The Intel 11th gen is kinda obsolete.

I put something together to work with (used the france-partspicker-page)

man 2000€ without GPU is ... a lot to play with...

Found a cheaper cooler with about the same performance.

With the i7 12th gen, a new board with the Z690 chipset.  You might want to consider to go with a DDR5-board with that budget...

Found some faster and cheaper RGB memory sticks.

Picked Phanteks P500A's airflow case. If you pick a case, I'd suggest to look for airflow cases. I don't know the one you picked, but it's usually a bad sign if the front has a solid glass panel in front of the intakes...

750W PSU is sufficient, higher Watt if you want to upgrade parts later.

Why not this?

Great suggestions, thank you very much guys.

My brother has now ordered everything, taking some input from me and mostly from a more experienced guy.
