Second Power Switch

Have a Asus Dark Hero Motherboard.

Wanted to know if anyone has any idea how to add a second Power Switch to the PC.

Currently, the PC is placed a little away from where I sit, and would love to be able to add a second Power Switch next to my keyboard or even be able to boot the PC using my keyboard. (I have a Razer Huntsman Elite Gaming Keyboard)

Any Ideas?

  1. Instead of powering down use the hibernate option. Any keyboard or mouse use will bring up the system. Windows power settings should not turn off usb.
  2. See if the bios has a wake on usb or wake on keyboard setting. May have to enable individual usb ports in power settings . Windows power settings should not turn off usb.
  3. Some Asus bios have a wake on ps/2 keyboard setting. Only visible when a device is attached to the ps/2 port.

You could easily add a MOMENTARY switch to the existing switch and both would work.

As shown in this picture;
