Bought 4gb DDR3 1600mhz ram instead of 1333mhz (Laptop ram)

So I planned to upgrade 4gb ram to my current 2gb ran in dual channel, but I overlooked the frequency and the guy told that the windows hanged with 2 gb 1333 mhz and 4 gb 1600 mhz,

What do i do??

Can I use the same config? Or 4gb 1333 mhz and  4gb 1600 MHz? Which one is better? If am thinking to ask for a replace just in case this ram is faulty.

Would it be best if the RAM we're identical, sure. However,  the 1600 MHz will run with the 1333 MHz it will just run at 1333 MHz as well.

If you can easily replace it, do so.  Otherwise as said, the 1600 will run at 1333 to match the slower stick.

I can replace the 4gb 1600 Mhz ram with the another ram of 1600 Mhz.

Also, if possible can anyone tell me how to configure my laptop so that it supports ram of different frequencies
