system proxy, http proxy, socks proxy, what does all these mean?

I am trying to use V2ray to bypass the GFW and I am running Kubuntu on my laptop.

 

it says in the github repo, we need to set up the system proxy. 

 

are these the correct setup?? 

 

if so, then why doesn't my V2ray desktop work...

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
