Graphics Card is stuck onto the pcie latch so it is half in - half out when i tries to take the GPU out, dont know how to fix

While building my first pc, i had to take out the graphics card to fix some of the case wires on the motherboard since the on button wasn't working. I went to take it out and the left side came out but the right side got stuck on the latch. I can slightly move the graphics card but not far unless I want to use a lot of force. I have tried realaining the gpu with the slot and place it back in but i havent managed to. I have also tried to mover the latch but no matter how hard i push it doesnt move. I am thinking of removing/cutting it somehow but i am not sure how to do so. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You have to push it down and pull out again, you have to pull vertically out the slot because a connector this long is very unforgiving. Having the system lay on its side also helps

Sorry for not understanding well but did you want me to push the graphics card back in how it is. It is on tto much of an angle to get it back in.

While pushing the latch move it towards the right until you hear a click sound. A click, not a crack.

The latch does not move at all no matter which direction i am pushing.

It should. Wiggle the card a bit while pushing. Otherwise you'll have to remove the mobo.

ok i will try that now, should i be pushing the gpu back  into the pcie or towards the back of the case

Can the card come out more from the side that's already out? How about if you try to take it out while moving the latch as well?

still doesnt move, the gpu can like barely be pushed anywhere and the latch stays as is. What should i do about removing the motherboard?

I would push the card back in, then pull it out just a small bit, before trying to move the latch. If the card is at an angle as shown in the picture, the latch probably is under too much pressure to move.

The latch should move "down", towards the motherboard. You can try pushing it down with a screwdriver (just be careful not to slip), but a more blunt object is probably preferable. Pushing the latch down should push the card out of the slot on that end.

Unplug all the cables, then remove the motherboard screws and it should come out.
